JUST COME BACK FOR DUBAI THOUGHT WE WOULD GIVE THE AL MUNTAHA A TRY. I FELT THE DECOR WAS TACKY THE FOOD SECOND RATE AND THE PRICE DISGRACEFUL(£375) FOR 3 COURSES AND A BOTTLE OF WINE. IF YOU ARE IN DUBAI I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO VISIT GARY RHODES IN THE GROSVENOR HOUSE HOTEL.

Spectacular Views from the lifts, the sky bar and the restaurant. Beware...the sun goes down very early so the views cannot be seen at all after roughly 7.30pm. Not as expensive as you would expect. Our meal came to less than 200GBP for two 2 course meals with drinks. Staff were very friendly, although the other diners make you feel lower class. We're a working class young couple from wales and this night was a special night for us so we dressed up to the nines, however we was surrounded by upper class older families in jeans and trainers! The food was too posh for our liking with raw eggs for starters for my partner and a spoonful of soup for me! Small portions but to be expected. Overall, if you're working class like us, its a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget however, if dining in 7* restaurants is you're norm, then it is probably right up your street!

the picture that you have given to illustrate this restaurant, and i think the approx price, is of Al Mahara (the seafood restaurant) NOT Al Muntaha which could confuse diners wanting to book. Al Muntaha is the restaurant at the top level of the Burj whilst Al Mahara is the restaurant with the fish tanks in the lower level.

Very interesting.....
Top of the world - you cannot beat the views - just incredible.
The food is great too (although not quite as good as Verre) but as you might expect in a 7 star establishment, a bit steep price-wise (some what more expensive then Verre!). And its bit over the top to look at too - the presentaion reminded me of the hotel's decor, complete with edible gold leaf! And priced accordingly (also water, wine, beer, G&T, v.steep so don't tell the bank manager you're making a booking!)
We've been twice - so it couldn't have been that outrageous but its definately a special occasion/millionaire type venue.

this place is fantastic! the decor is so tacky is brilliant lots of bright colours and things flashing on the walls its like your in a scene fromm star trek! the drinks are a little expensive but worth every penny, the view is breath taking the only thing i would say is try and go for lunch as during the day it would be better. they bring out little snacks which are lovley! the service is very attentive and would go back in a flash!
