This time came with my family last night. This place has a happy buzz to it. Coming here for the first time, my family immediately liked it.
We ordered for beef cutlets and chicken lolipop for starters. The mains were Goan fish curry, pork vindaloo and veg fried rice. We wouldn't have ordered the rice dish had we known the meal comes with steamed rice and bread. The chicken lolipop were soft and flavourful. Rest of the dish were nice too save that they were on the spicier side. The food takes a little time in coming and you need to remind the waiter busy serving other guests to check on your order.
With cheerful music and a glass of wine and we were merry too.

Enjoyed dinner last Thursday. The place was almost full with people on and off leaving their tables to dance away at popular numbers being played. More than the singing, it was the overall enjoyment of the acoustic and gastronomic sensations being enjoyed by the diners with their friends and families.
I just had the pork ribs and a pint of beer. Although considered a starter it was enough to feel sated and not overstuffed which is what I would have felt if I had also ordered the main course. It cost less than Dhs60. Unexpectedly, Goan food apperars to be a fairly spicy affair.
The restaurant also extends to the terrace but for live singing you are better off indoors. Pleasant staff though they were clearly kept busy. On the minus side, the interiors are crampy.
When in light-hearted mood, head for the Casa Goa.
