I liked this place. Travelling extensively its always interesting to see how a restaurant deals with a "one person" walk up. They were great, attentive but not over the top. Food was innovative but good, wine a tad pricey but that's Dubai.
Atmosphere is cool and understated.
The final touch was great, I wanted to smoke my cigar, outside of course, but the light was too poor to continue reading..... no problem for Ravi the waiter, he just arranged some cusions next to a garden light, an ashtray, a coffee and away I went.
Will come back

Our expectations were very high from that place – first of all, because of location in the most beautiful hotel, secondly, because reservation has to be done before 2 days, otherwise – no chance to get a free table. But reality was too gloomy comparing to dreams –
1. Waiters behave too freely, hugging your chair almost touching you.
2. Music is exceptionally loud – like in night club, to talk with other people of the same table is very difficult.
3. Menu is very poor – difficult to make a choice if you have nothing to choose from.
Well, after finishing food you get a weird feeling like your stomach is full but no pleasure…
The only good thing I can mention – wonderful decorations. If you are fond of photos, I can recommend that place.

Very nice decor and very friendly staff, albeit one or two were a little pushy in trying to get you to order too much food. Very child friendly - staff are very happy to entertain the baby when you are eating!
Food was mediocre - a few dishes are a little too fusion - for example, the cure salmon in the starter sampler dish was very bizarre and threw off the balance a little too far from the Indian theme.
Music was very good from the live DJ.
All in all a nice place, could do better on the food and could be a tad cheaper.

we went as a group of 20. the table was too huge and the music too loud for conversation. it was a set menu. the starters were good - veg and non-veg. the main course was not so. our request for being served each dish as there were many side dishes was not heeded. the sweet dish was inedible. we asked for more light around the table as the decor was dark and opressive with very few candles around the table. after 4 requests and one hour we got 3-4 more candles, which was totally inadequate given the size of the table and were told they had no more lights/candles available. there was only one waiter attending, he too disappeared for great lengths of time. a big contrast to the service we received when a similar group met at Asha's a couple of months ago!

Stayed at The One and Only Royal Mirage Arabian Court Hotel 7th -12th March and ate at the Nina restaurant twice, the food was superb, the setting romantic with great chill out music, and for the youngest member of the group, 2years old, very child friendly, great decor and cutlery so fantastic I purchased a set from the hotel boutique. First class in every respect.
