Boardwalk

Defnitely one of my favourite places in Dubai. The view is beautiful and the water and seagulls makes for a relaxing sundowner followed by dinner. Service is usually good however when they are full it is a bit difficult to get a refill on a drink. After you have ordered your food they will bring warm bread and dips+butter to you table to enjoy in the meantime. Very nice. Food is always very nice and tasty. Only negative is that it can be a bit on the pricey side,especially the drinks. That is probably what you should expect from Dubai....It is well worth a visit,but go early in the evening if you want to get a table as they fill up real quick especially in the cooler months (Oct-Mar).

Excellent in all respects - especially during the cooler months when you can sit outside on the terrace - highly recommended for taking people out as its located inside the golf club so gives guests the impression that they're going to a really special place - One downside though- they DONOT accept reservations!

So basically on any given day you may or may not get a table ....

We went there on Friday morning. It was quiet and the crowds hadn't yet come in. It was a nice sunny day on the water with a wonderful view of the skyscrapers in the distancce, yachts moored around us and small motorboats whizzing past. Very relaxing.

The food was good, large platter of sausages, bacon, omlettes, the works. Very filling and after breathing the fresh salty air one can do justice to the food.

Attentive service and on the whole a very pleasant experience. Worth going back a few more times.

We went here for lunch after a busy morning sightseeing. The view over the Creek is to die for and we sat outside on the deck. Its not fine-dining but both our dishes were good. Its a lovely peaceful area close to the hustle and bustle of the city- great for relaxing.

The last twice I have eaten here the food has been dreadful. The same happened to friends who ate earlier on the same days. I now would not go back. This is a real pity as it has such a lovely setting and the food previously was good.

We spend our 2005 new year dinner here. And from then, turned out to be my "My all time favorite" resto here in Dubai... But though I must admit, during summer time, not so. But they have indoor as well.

Their service is excellent. Food are always presentable and sumptuous. Prices are reasonable. Lotsa drinks, wine, boozers to choose from. Starters to Main menu are there. Though, I'm missing their Nasegoreng already... :c (my all time favorite food as well). For I heard, they just changed their menu sometime september 15 I think (well, that's according to one of their crew.)

And one thing I like w/ Boardwalk? -- the ambiance... beside the creek. At night, you will find peace... Always a perfect date! ;-)

And oh, they have huge aquarium resto inside. Shisha is also for grabs.. and an open bar to loosen up -- Qds!

I just don't understand one nite, when we tried hanging around at Qds.. I was wearing FCUK shirt that nite and the guard wouldn't allow me to come in. As in duh?! as if the girls inside don't wear ahmmm.. never mind.

Boardwalk (only) still one of the best places for me here! :D
