"Shahrzad offers the delicately spiced cooking of Iran in an exotic setting reminiscent of ancient Middle-Eastern fairy tales. The restaurant has beautifully polished wood floors, a sculpted ceiling and an impressive open kitchen with a 'tanour' oven to bake steaming hot bread. The menu features succulent, grilled meats and kebabs and delicious sauces made from fresh vegetables and dried fruits. The restaurant offers live entertainment by resident musicians and two private dining rooms for small meetings and parties."- February 2011

This was our first introduction to Persian food and as a result of such a great expereince at Shahrzad will not be the last.
The service was impeccible with the manager as well as our waiting giving advice on menu choices. The lamb stew was incredibly tender and the saffron rice was the lightest and fluffiest I have ever had!
My father, who was a little sceptical about Persian food is now a convert and has started drinking saffron tea!
