Plus : price, food all round but OK, Breads are delicious and home made

BUT : pay attention on staff motivation and opening hours ! Never rely on the possibility to eat after shopping. Today, arriving at 10:20pm and said it was claused (normally opened from 10am to 12pm from Sundays to Fridays)

I am reviewing the India Palace at the Ibn Battuta mall.

The food is ok the staff service is ok (not great just OK)

My major problem is the takeaway service. The delivery time is shocking I waited around 1 hr 20 minutes before I rang and asked where my food was (apperently it had already left). After another twenty minutes I called back and was told it was still en route. When the food finally arrived it was nothing more than a carrier bag full of assorted sauces (mixed). The only food that had manage to avoid the tornado was the Chicken Kebab which I have to admit tasted very nice however shared between my guests was not a fulfilling meal.

Despite the tasty kebab I have no inclination to order from them again.

1 of my all time favorites and a very reliable place (quality- wise) to invite special guests.

I bring many of my German friends to give them a taste of authentic Indian food which can clearly be called a benchmark in taste and flavor.

It's a place with a very relaxed ambience and with some difference (sp. the bangle factory at the corner is a great idea and my daughters love that)

Keep up the good work - Kudos to the entire team

India Palace is an excellent Indian restaurant. The food is consistently of the highest standard, the waiters are efficient and knowledgeable, the decor is very tasteful and their prices are reasonable. They also value their customers - recently when my take-away order was delivered a little late, they apologised for the delay and told me that my next meal would be free - and it was. This is, without doubt, one of the best restaurants in Dubai. Try the prawn masala - it is delicious!
