This is my Continental European sanctuary in Dubai! I love whiling away lazy weekend afternoons here with friends: the outdoor seating area at the SZ Road branch is an oasis amongst the DIFC/Burj Dubai construction sites and the communal tables at the Al Garhoud branch complete with newspapers and magazines is just the business: all within staring distance of their glorious display of fresh breads and patisserie!
I come here more for the ambience rather than the food, although the food is generally of a very decent standard. The long menu bolted onto retro clipboards offers generous portions of mains from acronud the world but, as is typical of Dubai, execution is less hit and more miss so it's best to stick to the simple things like the breakfasts (which are served all evening as well as all day) and the bottomless soups (which comes to the table in its cooking pot!).
The choice of coffee blends add to the More appeal, and a coffee addict could do much worse than foregoing their usual caffeinated tipple for one of the pot-infused teas:especially the jasmine tea.

This café is one of the best places in Dubai to go! There is no weekend without at least one delicious English breakfast at More! As pointed out before the breakfast can be individually chosen and the coffee is far better then Starbucks, Costa or whatever all these big brands are called! Staff is always friendly and helpful and value for money is just great compared to what you get in other restaurants in town.

Great for casual meetings or team lunches. Fills up and empties out in a blink. Wonderful sausages but skip the seafood if you know what fresh tastes like. Skip the desserts till they get it right - some tweaking needed in this department
Nasi goreng - satay sauce was pretty near authentic BUT I think they used MSG in the rice - no go! Paella - great seasoned rice, but prawns reeked. Both times i ordered it! Never again! Cold potato salad with sausages - DOUBLE YUM! Thai green curry - average / you get much better stuff at MOE Thai joint. Tagine - average, wont try that again.
English breakfast - nice breads and sausages - YUM but overpriced. Burgers and sandwiches - great pizza in the delivery / feels like hearty beef - good. Breads - el CHEAPO - dont typically offer this, but depending on how they feel might serve you some tho i dont think its the fresh stuff. Why i keep going back - I stick to the sausages ;-)

Although this is a regular favourite with my friends and I who visit More cafe at least once a week (SZR branch) I must admit that the service can be very hit and miss whereby we can sometimes struggle to flag down a passing waiter or get what we request. Sometimes we have asked for an additional chair 3 or 4 times and finally one of us has had to get up and go and carry the chair across the restaurant without any help from the staff who look on stony faced. Sometimes drinks can take ages to arrive and requests for menus or extra bread and smalll items can take longer than the food itself. Of course since we are regulars we keep going back and we love the food and general ambience but we do find the service increasingly frustrating.

Both the outlet at Garhoud and the one on SZR are equally good. I fell in love the first time I visited. The relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff and the FABULOUSLY good food are above par.
Everything I've tried or my fellow diners have tried has been more than satisfyingly, finger-lickingly good.
I love ordering the English Breakfast which is not only delicious but also because its so much fun actually placing the order - do you want tea or coffee, bacon or sausages, brown or white bread, orange or watermelon juice, how do you like your eggs.... ooh... marvellous! Really makes you feel that they care about you and your eating experience at Mores.
The value for money at Mores is definitely its biggest plus!

I went today for the first time and loved it. I had the Brazilian tandoori sandwich which was very inventive and was served on wonderful homemade bread. The iced Greek coffee was wonderful as was the orange/lemon/ginger juice. Everything I saw others eating looked great too. The menu is inventive -- there is something for everyone. I want to go back here many times and eat my way through the menu. Unfortunately, it's only open for breakfast and lunch.
