Have just spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to give me a menu at Dubai Mall branch... finally just got up and left as not worth the hassle. Food in general is not bad, but service is often very mediocre, borderline inexistent. They try and cram so many people into their restaurants, but then have neither the quantity nor the quality of staff required to provide adequate service. If you don't want to spend your afternoon waiting for your food, I don't recommend it!

We went to Mall of Emirates. We have eaten various meals (indian, italian and thai). More is an excellent place to go and atmosphere really nice too !

I think that the food at more is horrible, the staff are extremely rude and whenever I thought my food was not good and complained to them they started asking me all these wierd questions like, what dont you like about the food? What is missing in the food? Other people like this dish, why dont you?. They would also still charge me for the dish. They should close down.

BAD SERVICE - RUDE STAFF

Having read the reviews I decided to give Dubai Mall a chance. Accompanied by 2 friends on the 7th we were disspointed by the lazy waiter that didn't want to serve us or in fact seat us upon our arrival. I'd requested a table outside and were told " Uhh mam actually they are already reserved". He then turned his back on us and walked away. I didn't give up though. I followed to check whether there was a waiting list and how long? 20mins was the response which meant a drink inside whilst we waited. But you'd be wrong because when we suggested this the waiter changed his mind and now decided it was "20mins per diner on the waiting list" Hang on just a minute you just said......clearly he couldn't be bothered. So we approached a different member of staff and she was refreshingly polite and happy to give us a table in 15mins which she delivered on.

Great food on this occassion and the waiter that served us outside was friendly, knowledgabe and shared a few comments about the burj opening.

So we went again on the 15th. BUT this time after being seated by a waitress outside we were asked to leave by a male waiter after 10mins because the "table had been reserved by his diners" both of whom were standing right next to him. I thought it was a mistake and informed him of this but he wasn't going away and instead raised his voice and told us all to leave the table.

Not a surprise that everyone around us overheard and we did leave but as we did so another couple ( 2 ladies) asked a different waiter if a table was free outside and no they hadn't made a reservation and were swiftly shown to the an empty table near the front (outside of course).

What is going on with the Dubai Mall location? Who knows and I don't care anymore as I won't be going again. Plenty of other restaurants to tempt my purse.

My comment to anyone don't go to Dubai Mall More Cafe you will be sadly dissapointed by the staff's arrogant and rude behaviour as well as their disorganised style.

Having been a long time customer of More Cafe I am surprised to see such a negative response. I often dine at either the branch in Garhoud or the Gold and Diamond Park. with my wife and family. We have never felt any rudeness from the staff, quite the opposite actually. We are always greeted with friendly accommodating smiles and made to feel welcomed. We find it's one of the few places where were we go and dine and feel completely relaxed. We are a family of four and we are yet to be dissapointed by the quality of the food or menu variety.

Its a definate favourite in my book. I'd say to anyone who has not been go and make your own mind up, I am certain you will be as confused as I am to the persons comments above.

It seems that More Cafe is too high for their own customers. They need to land back on earth. Rude managers, horrible food and disrespect for clients is common at all locations. The worse part is that when you say you dont like something they interogat you about it before reluctantly agreeing to return it but still charge you for it. The orange juice was not fresh, the green curry chicken was beyond terrible.

I promise to take this complaint to the owners if they are still on earth to hear people's compalints. My advice to anyone who has not tried it yet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!

Going through the reviews before heading to MORE almost put me off-course and got me thinking twice before having my business lunch there. After all, who would risk bad taste or bad service on a business lunch. Luckily, I like to try things on my own, so heading to MORE's branch at the Gold and Diamond Park (Shk. Zayed Rd, before Mall of Emirates) I decided to go with the bright side of life. The place is really cool and cozy, not too formal not to casual, just right for a friends gathering, chat or a brief lunch. The service was great, the food delicious and the dessert brilliant. My first business lunch was equally successful as well. I would consider the value for money normal for the same level elsewhere, if you're regularly eating out you'll be probably paying the same amount. Overall, drop the earlier reviews and grab a bite and be your own judge. Bon Apetit.

The More Cafe service was really bad. Our Orange Juice seemed to be few days old and when asked for second one because it didn't taste good, they didn't apologize, and to my surprised they billed me for the 2nd glass....

The service was slow and the manage was very rude.

We'll never dine there again.

Nice menu, Pricy but the choice makes up for it.

BUT service - Terrible

I visited last year (Rotana outlet) and ordered Nasi Goreng for Dhs. 35. I asked the waitor for an egg on top. He told me he would charge extra - I naturally agreed and said ok. Little did I know when the bill came they charged me Dhs. 20 for 1 egg!!!!!! More than 3/4 of the actual dish.

I gave the restaurant another chance (Garhoud outlet) this morning and ordered Eggs Benedict. Apart from waiting 15-20 mins for our milkshake, when they took our order we requested the salmon to be removed and replaced with turkey ham - naturally a cheaper good anyway. Haha... well I should have know. They Chef outrightly said NO and if we wanted this they would charge addiitonal .

WILL NEVER RETURN. IF YOU WANT A PLACE THAT ATLEAST HAS SERVICE, DO NOT VISIT! Save your money, I can buy 30 eggs for Dhs. 20!
