Dum Pukht

I have been to Dumpukht many times and always found the food execellent. I work for an MNC and my colleagues from several nationalities all enjoyed the food which we order from there sometimes. Even today they ask me for the restuarant's number to order food. We particularly liked the paratha rolls and biryani. Qeema is great too. Service is average, not bad, not good. I am a Pakistani, and I love food, and I have tasted great Pakistani food all my life apart from sampling international cuisine from all over the world during my business trips, so I think I am in a position to compare and say Dumpukht is not bad at all. Definitely worth going back to. In Feb 08 we had friends (food exhibition participants at WTC) from Pakistan and I took them to...Dumpukht and they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Dum Pukht is a definitely one of the greatest restaurants I have been to in Dubai. We've had catering through them MANY times...and they've always delivered to a high standard. Everytime I get catering from them, my guests are always satisfied!They're chicken biryani is excellent, and so is their dal makhani and malai gosht! Mmmm...my favorite!! :D

I had heard great reviews about their Shami Kebab and Biryani, but unfortunately it was anything but good. Kebabs were hard and lacked any flavour. The biryani was over-done and with little to be happy off. Overall it was a bad experiance which I would not like to repeat.

Excellent Dal Makhani !!! Food is great especially if you order take away or home delivery... pity the service isnt any good at dine in. But food is yummy... Highly recommended.

I have been visiting Dum Pukht ever since it opened. The food is great as always with minor mishaps sometimes. But service... that's something they have to think about seriously..

Dum Pukht does not have any dum at all, specially their biryanis are hopeless & without any taste. I was recommended by a friend of mine & really it was so disappointing that i vowed not to go there ever again!

When I went last i.e. last year in June, I found the atmosphere excellent, service was great, infact found the management excellent (female). Now all is heywire, nothing is in shape, its just the name thats left. Sorry !
