Had dinner on 7th night. Service usually faultless but this time I found the waiter standing close by and practically listening in to our conversation. It was pracically empty since it was almost time for the last order.

We ordered for paneer soti boti and chapli kabab for starters. The panner were small sized. Chapli kabab was very good. Main dishes were lazeez chicken tikka masala and chemmeen(prawns) porichatthu. It's a heavy mix of spices but fortunately in the case of prawns it didn't or couldn't overwhelm the taste.

Had lunch today 17 July and have to say the food is delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the variety of flavours and food options is just wonderful. The portions are big and we ordered too much, next time we know to order less.

The waiters and waitresses were very helpful and attentive and made you feel very important as a customer. Totally satisfied with the service.

A wonderful find in my opinion and will definitely be going again. Totally recommend this Indian restaurant - lives up to it's name.

Had dinner with wife and kids last night. For starters we ordered Paneer Tikka Qasoori and Murgh Pur Lutf. Both were delightful although the chicken seemed a shade undercooked from within. For mains, it was Baingan Mirch Ka Saalon and Murgh Methi alongwith Lachcha Paranthas. Full marks for the Murgh Methi. The thick curry in both the preparations were flavourful though the Baingan alone felt bland. The Paranthas tasted good but should have been softer. Since we were all full we ordered 1 Kulfi which we shared. Overall, the food tasted better this time

Service was a pleasure. You know they are available without hovering around and over you.

You know the place is overpriced when a bottle of plain water costs Dhs16 and the total came to Dhs 369.

Dinner last night. Ordered Mutton Paya soup. It arrived too soon for comfort, within 5 min., while I had just finished ordering the rest. Probably suoer efficiency. It was a thick orange-brown coloured soup, not the clear soup I was expecting. It was strong enough to jolt you out of any complacency with abundance of ingredients and spices. Next was Chicken Tangdi which was as soft and well marinated but didn't excite the taste buds as much. For benchmark comparison try the same at Gazebo at Kuwaiti Street, near Mankhool Road, Bur Dubai. Next was Mutton Saag dish. The mutton pieces were soft and wonderfully done though the curry again had plentiful of different masalas. Two beers were unavailable-Cobra & Tiger so settled for the Kingfisher which smooth and went well with the food.

The service was efficient, prompt and non-intrusive. The table arrangements were such that even while being surrounded by other tables you could feel you could feel having your own space. Rest of the decor was nothing much to crow about.

All in all good but I was expecting better from the Gordon Ramsay of Indian cooking. At times like these you feel that keeping it simple would have been better.
