very bad delivery and customer service

This review refers only to the delivery service. Getting through to Pizza Hut on the phone is quite difficult and costly. Placing the order is another obstacle because some of the staff do not speak good English.
While the pizza is tasty, the quantity of the toppings is quite small for the price of the pizza. Even when one orders for an extra helping, it is insufficient to cover even three-fourths of the pizza.
The home - delivery menus are ridiculous. They only have a few appetizers, 4 pizzas and combo offers listed. Ordering for the pizza that one wants is extremely difficult because one has to depend on the waiter on the phone. It is like gambling. One has a fair idea of how the pizza will be but not for sure.
Home deliveries always take about one hour but the waiter has always specified this at the time of placing the order.
Having said all this, the dishes I would recommend are:
1. Garlic Bread with or without Cheese
2. Chicken Fajita Pizza (This is on the spicy side but tasty)
The dishes I would NOT recommend are:
1. Vegetable Pizza (Only vegetables are olives and capsicum)
2. Mozzarella Pizza with Vegetable Toppings
3. Grilled Chicken Pizza (Extremely Bland)

Pizza hut customer service is very bad and if you try to speak to the supervisor, they are no good.... as they are also busy transferring your call from one person to another....
So after trying very hard to explain the problem, I finally decided not to hang up without any solution and more frustrated than before.... which might exactly be what they wanted.....Anyways no going back to them......

It is ridiculous that these kind of irresponsible peoples are handling your call centre.
On 17/07/08 1.30pm we have ordered for a CHICKEN FAJITHA and they told it will be delivered within 45min. We have waited up to 3pm and called them, that time they told it will take another 40min to get it. So we forced to cancel that order. At least you people must inform us if there will be a delay. So do put some responsible persons in your call centre

These guys are hopeless. I have tried to call the above number and after waiting on the line for 15 minutes I was disconnected. I didn't even get to try the pizza, but don't think I will cause I'll never call back.

Well, first of all, Pizza Hut in Dubai, have only 2 pizzas for veggies. me and my friends struggled for 5 minutes on the line trying to get what that lady was saying.. man it was a real hard time ordering my pizza..

I have just had a Chicken BBQ Pizza from Mercato Pizza Hut as this morning I received a nice Pizza Hut Advert with Gulf News.
The Pizza given had a maximum uof just 8 pieces of tiny chicken and 10 pieces of onions i.e. it was empty whilst the picture on the advert says another story.
Pizza Hut it is the last time you misled me.

We've ordered a pizza today and have been told it will come in 30 minutes. Now are 2 hours and not yet here. Calling them didnt help... why shall i wait on the line for 20 minutes?
