The Beach Bar & Grill

This is close to perfect for setting, food and service, right by the beach, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, very agreeable staff who provide discreet, friendly service and tasty food at affordable prices. After four years in Dubai (I left last year) I can honestly say that I never found a better option for outdoor dining and high quality ingredients, and I ate out two or three times a week. The one fly in the ointment is the nearby construction work in progress -- but, hey, it won't last for ever and once it's finished, you can remove the word "near" from the phrase "near perfect."
