Lime Tree Café

Service is awful especially the miserable and abrupt girl at the counter. She didn't smile once or even say good morning. Over-priced and over-rated. One to miss.

Wonderful ambiance about the cafe in Jumeriah. Quite funky too.

Love the food and the carrot cake is to die for!!

Well done with the touch of New Zealand and the Pacific in the de'cor ...

Definetely over rated. Its a nice place but its not sublime or out of this world. The food is average and the service is slow (well, where is it not in dubai!). I ordered a chicken and asparagus quiche which is dry, sour and had to be from a previous month! The corn fritters were good and my latte was nice. Atmosphere is lovely but other than an a cup of coffee and muffin, I wouldnt spend my money at lime tree.

It was a relief to find a cafe that offers a casual and relaxed atmosphere so difficult to find here in Dubai. We were welcomed and enjoyed the friendliness of the girl who served us at the counter. The food was delicious and I was impressed by the healthy range of choices. Each to their own. I'll be back!

I cannot imagine what the two negative reviewers are on about - the food at the lime tree is sublime. And this is agreed by all our visiting friends and rels so far. Okay, the service is minimal but it is only a cafe after all - the focus is quite rightly on the food! Okay it is full of ex pats, but what do you expect? and why is that such a problem??

Peter pretty much hits the nail on the head with what he said here - very over rated. After hearing so much I went and couldnt see what the fuss was about, food was very average and service was rushed and inaccurate. Outside area has a nice atmosphere and has pleasing decor but otherwise this venue is unremarkable and slightly over priced.

You must try the all the varieties of quiche. The food on offer looks mouthwatering but having only tasted a few different items, I have an excuse to go back again and again. It's not just the food thats good, the Milkshakes and Lime Tree Mint Cooler are worth a visit on their own.
