Lime Tree Café
your comments review this restaurant
Looks more like an art cum pottery shop form the outside with only the name Cafe, giving a hint of what can be expected within. Inside, it's a caffeteria like atmosphere, brought out into the public domain with the patrons, though not necessarily college-going, average around 30 years of age.
For a first timer like me, what strikes first is the variety and novelty of the food on display.
Opted for mango salad, risotto cake and spicy Zen tea. The salad was very nice, the risoto a trifle bland with the cranberry sauce an unwanted accompaniment.
Recommend it for a light lunch. Would come again to savour the other dishes as also the cakes on offer. Didn't look like a place where you could bring small children along. Otherwise, a gem of a place.
