During my stay in Dubai I ate in few Japanese restaurants. Sho chos was the worst.
The food was bad: greasy, tasteless tempura, soggy gyosa.
The service was unprofssional. The staff was arrogant, did not care at all. I did not eat most of my food and nobody even asked why!!!
The decor is tired and it looks dirty.
I understand that the bar outside is great but just avoid the restaurant itself.

i had a great meal there. unfortunately, my friend kept finding bones in her sashimi. in my book, "bones in sushi" is really the ultimate kiss of death for a sushi-place.
there's no question that the restaurant is kinda cool looking, though the tacky standing bar adjoining the restaurant really brings down the appeal and quality of the restaurant for me. If i wanted a frat-party with my sushi, i would've ask for one.

Minimal, white gleaming interior with James Bond style fish tanks in the walls !
Fantastic modern japanese menu, Very similer to Nobu in London.
Fabulous venu perched on rocks at the edge of a pier looking onto the Gulf splashing below.
Kool DJ nights and a fun retro 80's Nite, attracts a well heeled, and stylish crowd ready to dance. Definately a must see whilst visiting Dubai !
