We have taken friends to The Dhow on four or five different occasions and it has been fantastic everytime. An exceptional restaurant!

The best restaurant ever. The hot platter for two is heaven and is completed with the chocolate truffle for dessert. the atmosphere is amazing and the service is fantastic
I will go there any time. Love it

Came onto this web site to find good reviews of a restaurant that I could book for my wedding anniversary.
Chose the Dhow as the reviews were mostly very good. Went there last night with friends. The service was unbelievably bad and I would never go again.
We arrived with five of us in the party and were told there would be a slight delay as they only had 10 menus, which were all out at tables.? We ordered and after approximately 45 minutes received two meals only. After 5 minutes more we had to suggest that the two individuals carry on eating or the meal would go cold. Finally another two arrived, then the final meal after a delay of almost 15 minutes from the initial serving.
As we finished the meals the waitress rrived with individual portions of mashed potato ?? Which we promptly told them to take back.
We complained to the manager and received apologies and were asked if we wanted a free round of drinks.
We refused as the whole evening was ruined.
The restaurant was only half full so I dread to think how the service would have been on a busy night.!!!!!!!
Never again and would never recomment this restaurant to anyone.

Completely agree!!
The most authentic restaurant in Dubai. It's almost like a private dinner with friends, because the service and specially the manager is always there attending you so amazingly!!
Definetly one of the most romantic places in Dubai with very distant tables, soft light, beautiful music and amazing views. Besides, the sushi, oysters and champagne were just perfect!
Don't miss it!
