I really disagree with most of you guys.

the Place is fantastic, the food is perfect and best of all the service Sylvia our waitress was amazing...

whenever we wanted to order something we used to find her next to us.

I really recomend the place,

The food here is absolutely fantastic. I'm very fussy about the way my meat is cooked so was delighted to find a restaurant as fussy as I am! Everything is cooked to perfection. The service is excellent. It's the first place in Dubai I've actually given tips to the staff!

The absolute worst dinner I've had at an "upscale" restaurant in Dubai. The service was horrendous. The Waitress sat us down not saying a word and handed us our menus. Later she came to take our orders, as normal, and was a bit rude when asked to explain certain dishes. Appetizers and the 20dhs water bottle came promptly, but the food took a full hour to come after that, and we were there on a Monday night. Not once in this hour were we anywhere near anyone that could help us, as we wanted more bread/drinks. When the food finally came we asked if there was any sauce for the steak and she got angry at us and said we didnt ask for any sauce, not having mentioned this to us earlier. Food was Ok, nothing too great, burger had no taste, steaks were good. When we told them that the service was no good, she misheard us and replied with a "thank you". So we told her again, and she said... oh ok. Thats it. Didnt care as to why or anything.

Ate at the meat co. in December and the service was to say the least very poor, however it was a very busy night so decided to give it another chance in april.Big mistake. Location was fantastic with a great view of the burj al arab, food was fine but nothing to rave about and unfortunately the service was dreadful. No excuses this time as it was early evening and not busy at all.Will not be giving this restaurant another chance because apart from its fantastic location the meat co is a big disappointment.

I eat here on a regular basis, the 300gram fillet stake is consistently the best slab of beef in town. To eat outsid eyou turn up at 7pm put your name on the list, friendly helpful staff and an awesoem location.

I came to dubai in sept 05. Went to Meat Co and had the ribs. Oh my god this was heaven. I tried to book for other day s we where there but fully booked 'gutted'. Tasted the steak that my wife had sssssluuuuup. Going back feb 07 can't wait to get my teeth onto those ribs. Yummy. Pricy yes but worth every penny. You only live once.

A group of 5 of us had a meal at the Meat Co. on December 26th. We were placed next to the toilets. On viewing the traffic and seeing into the 'Gents' for 30 mins. We ask to be relocated to a nearby table, unfortunately in the fire escape door, which was the route for waiting staff to the outside area. The 'Public' we coming in to change babies nappies too. Needless to say I will not be going there again.

Over priced and over hyped. Steaks were mediocre and the New Yorker is a no-no here. Best dish of the night for me was the Fish and Chips. Not a good sign in a steakhouse...
