The Meat Co.

Visited the Meat Company on the 28th October. Was served by a lady called Sylvia and never had a more attrociously bad service. Her manners and table etiquette were non existent. It reflected very very poorly on the place. As a result of this we will no longer dine at this restaurant- we used to go at least once a month. To add to the bad service the waitress dropped red wine on a leather hand bag which needless to say is ruined. What a disappointing night!!!

The meat was good but the vegetables were not fresh. Never ate it. But the cost of the meal was very high. At least double as what it is in South Africa. So much for tax free!!

I was shocked when i saw the prices. At least double what it is in South Africa. The veggie was not very fresh either. The meat was good but overall it is not worth the money.

Being a South African and having eaten at the one in the MonteCasino in JHB regulary it was a gift from heaven to have one on our doorstep. The service, friendliness, menu, value and all round experience puts you leaps and strides above the one back home!

Although this restaraunt is completly full every night, do not be fooled by the hype like I was. The meat is average, likewise the service. You are paying quite high prices due to the name and location. Really was not the experience I thought it was going to be.
