Finz

Dined here on the 15th. The food was both sublime and pathetic.

Ordered for the 600gm lobster thermidor and since it was the rib night I also ordered the 300 angus ribs. Both were served simultaneously.

The lobster came with rice and butter lemon sauce. Wonderfully flavoured and cooked and enjoyable to the last bit.

The ribs were an absolute disaster and a disgrace to be served to guests. It was hard, dry, chewy and I had to stop cutting it with knife a few times as my hand ached. 50% off on ribs is no excuse to serve such stuff. The poor waiter was apologetic and offered to get another one.

For (smart) casual dining I have been visiting Finz every week for 3 years and must admit that for the price you pay you will get a very good Angus filet steak. Besides Angus steaks and Rib-eye it is also offering excellent chicken dishes.

Khalid and his staff keep the service at a high level, are friendly and very attentative.

Finz has the most amazing desserts. The cakes are so huge they taste just awesome. I have never seen cakes like this anywhere in Dubai or Europe for that matter.

The service could be better in general the food is fantastic. Well done on the cakes. The owner has outdone himself with the cakes.
