YO! Sushi

This franchise is a serious embarassment to the rest of the Yo! Sushi chain, which I have always associated with decent quality ingredients and turnaround times. The service during peak times is practically non-existent so ordering from the menu is off-limits if you want to leave within an hour.
Whereas the conveyor belt offerings are ok during lunchtimes, the leftovers end up doing the rounds for the rest of the day.
The takeaway/ delivery service is consistently unreliable: my order of the sashimi platter bore no correspondence with the description on the label: there were fewer pieces in the box than specified, they had substituted salmon for the tuna and yellowfin without explanation, the cuts of fish were grisly. On another occasion, a colleague found various items missing from her delivery even though she had paid for them and after she had waited over an hour for the delivery from across the Gate Building at DIFC.
I thought of complaining to their head office about this rogue branch but concluded that the best remedial action is to boycott the place entirely.

Not bad, they really dont use the belt concept very well, not much variety. when it is not busy however, they have a good selection on the menu and dont mind preparing it to order... but when it is busy, the special orders are slow. great concept, good sushi - to- order, needs to be refined!

Idea is nice, however the food and experience wasn't. Simple seats and tables. The sushi on the belt fell apart and didn’t look fresh. The tables were sticky all over the place and the wasabi had to be pulled out of a plastic box integrated in the table.
