IKEA

The Ikea restaurant has a self service policy in line with store. A very good place to grab something to bite for people on the fast lane and who doesnot want to be waited on. During lunch they have a buffet served by their chefs, depending on what we decide to choose, (though breakfast entries are still available) and has a nice salad bar. The food is delicious though my colleague was not too appreciative of the muffins, as they tasted stale. She avoided even the Pastries which I found was nice.The slight setback could be the limited menu, a long line of people behind you waiting for you to finish over with your selection and trying to balance a tray of food, plates and cups to the check out and payment counter.

The ambience is definitely IKEA, neither shoddy nor extravagant. Do remember after every meal, the person has to replace the tray in the assembly trolleys kept for the same reason. No pampering here and in the event you want to have a cup of coffee after food, well, it is back to the line again and the drag to the counter.

All in all it is pleasant, especially after all that walking around in the IKEA store.
