Yum!

Yum has a surprisingly intimate feel for what is essentially a noodle house. The service is friendly, if a little slow, but the food is worth waiting for. The entrees are all perfectly cooked with no nasty oil aftertaste, the roast duck in red curry sauce is sublime....I haven't had better in Thailand, the stir fried vegetables were a little overcooked (but tasty), and the laaksa had enough bite to have my dinner companion smiling whilst reaching for a tissue. The only complaint I have is that once you have finished your meal the staff are anxious for you to move on. They want the table for the next diners. Still, for the little you pay and the amount that you get, it's really a small point. Not recommended for a lingering meal but for a yummy bite this is the place to go in Deira.
