Benihana

we arrived at the Bustan Al Rotana hotel at 8:55 for our 9:00 reservation and were already impressed, because the courteous valet opened the doors for us and took our car to park .

we arrived at Benihana's front desk and gave our name, reservation time and type of dinner we were looking for (either teppanyaki or buffet) we were then hospitably assigned to our table, given menus open on the drinks page and asked what we would like to drink. Now it was time to choose our main course and I chose the Rocky's choice, hibachi style chicken with steak and fried vegetable rice....

After a very long waiting period we were confronted with our jolly chef named simply as Chef Ruben. Later when he actually started to cook he performed some wonderful tricks with the cutlery and salt and pepper shakers, such as, making a beat by tapping them on the table while salting the rice and chicken.

He also had a implausible sense of humor, like calling the soy sauce diet coca cola and the butter japanese vanilla ice cream. while he was beginning we were also served with onion soup and garden salad with ginger sauce.

overall the atmosphere was average (7/10) because of the fact you have to share a table with a person who may be consuming alcohol (im muslim so.....) and/or uncomfortably eccentric.

Service i gave a top notch 9/10, food a 8/10 and value for money 8/10
