Chili's

I have been to different Chili´s restaurants in Dubai. The best service is still getting offered in Mall of Emirates and this is the only one I still go.

The new Chili´s in Festival City is extremely disappointing and I can only recommend everybody to visit another restaurant in DFC. Starting with how you are welcomed and placed, just treated like a number. Lot´s of dishes are left from customers for more then 10 minutes but dishes are not carried away and cleaned. Order and food takes a long time, service is most of the time unfriendly and stressed. If they serve you food its sometimes cold or the last ones get their food when the first ones have already finished. That´s not the way of "American dinning" as advertised I feel...

I come from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Chili's there is one of the best and most popular restaurants. The food is good, the service is great and the whole experience is fantastic. We used to go there at least 2 weekends every month and sometimes during the week.

Now, I have been in Dubai for a year now. The picture here is totally different. I don't know where to start my list of disappointments. Very bad / cheap service.

1. Delay in taking order.

2. Order not noted correctly.

3. Food served cold.

4. Ice cream served melted in a separate cup!!!! At the beginning, I actually thought it was soup.

5. Soda's with no gas

6. Bad cooling (A/Cs not working).

I have experienced the above at different Chili's restaurants in Dubai. But I have experienced them all at the new one at JBR on many occasions.

Don't go to the Chili's in JBR. The food was good but let down by the poor service with a server who forgot to get us our drinks each time, kept trying to serve the main course before starters and then when the main courses arrived, they were cold as they'd been sat under the hot lamp for 20 mins. Hopefully it's just new opening problems although the service of the one in the Mall of the Emirates was not dissimilar!
