After more than six visits now we have to say quite simply, great food well presented by friendly if not so knowledgeable staff. Decent value for money, great choice from the Vodka bar (Spicy Bloody Mary in particular) Well worth a visit...

reading these reviews i wonder if i was at the same restaurant!!! we stayed at jumeriha beach hotel and the concierge recommended this restaurant......when we pulled up i thought we had the wrong place outside looked decidely dodgy.
The service and food however was first class in every respect. the menu was extensive and catered for all tastes from all parts of india and nothing was any trouble. if it is first class food from india you seek ...i very much doubt if you will be disapointed. A + in my book......oh and by the way excellent value for money ,

In one word outstanding. The food, the restaurant and the ambiance. As you walk in the lighting is low, the mellowing sounds of Buddha bar playing in the back ground and the smell of the food is very inviting. Anything with Ushna in the title is highly recommended. The tandoori oven generates perfection every time so please do not hesitate to try it. Please be aware that the portions are very large so pace your self as you will not be able to leave anything on the plate.

Interior arrangement is poor.
Service staff is not Indian which is the main drawback of this restaurant.
Food quality & taste is not OK, means not upto the mark. You will not feel like an eating Indian Food.
Most importantly price wise - NO VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY.
Finally, It is not worth at all.

Although the outside ambience is better the in ambience is poorer compared to the standards. The cutlery is not right, could have chosen a little lighter and simnpler ones. Excellent for couples and lesser people but pathetic for parties not because of the food but the arrangement of table space and elbow room. However, what does matter is the food, prepared very well, althoug all dishes do not taste the genuine taste. But, they do comparatively a good work on meats and Indian ethinic sweets. The Gulab Jamun was excellent would melt in your mouth. The meat mutton gravey was not that good although the mutton was really made well. But to square that of the chicken was very good. Mutton biriyani did not really make mark but the Chicken biryani was good.
However, what has to appreciated is an excellent service, even though some of the stewards were not ethinically Inidan. They were polite, had suggestions and were very accurate about potions.
Over all a nice place for dinner and Lunch in winters.
