This is the place to come for genuine Chinese food in Dubai...it's the best Chinese food outside China, and the only place in the world I've found which has pork and pak choi dumplings (jiaozi) on the menu. As a starter you get three pieces, and I always order a double portion, because I so rarely get to have jiaozi.

In saying that I'm always really full half way through the main course, so next time I'll have something different to start, and maybe a double for mains, although it's over all too quickly.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff very friendly and as mentioned the views are amazing.

It is pricey for Chinese food, but it's so fantastic you don't grudge it.

Dined here on Saturday night 23rd Sept.

Dim Sum was fantastic and the lobster was sweet and tender.A world class Chinese restaurant by any standards, highly recomended.

Absolutely brilliant.

The best restaurant in dubai - by far!!

The service was brilliant, they really made you feel special here!! The food was out of this world, and the portions were a good size. I would certainly say this is the best restaurant in Dubai. We are going back again for our special anniversary meal.

Just to respond to a previous review, we went in October and found it fantastic.

The food was not typical UK (or US for that matter) Chinese. It was top-notch food.

As for portion size, we were so full we couldn't manage a pud!

But besy of lall was the setting. We dined outside with the lake next to us and the Burj hovering above - fantastic.

Having receive rave reviews in one of the local whats on magazines, we were quite looking forward to spending the night in what is an extremely enviable position overlooking to canal.

The menu came and was not only limited, but extremely confusing to understand. Once we had mastered this though, and ordered the food, it became aparent that this restaurant concentrated on presentation rather than quantity. Food was nice although just enough to wet our appetites. Service was slow and it was extremely difficult to catch any of the serving staffs attention, even for drinks.

cost - extremely expensive when cosidering with the portions and service.
